It's done! All 57,000 words of Offshoots, Book 1 of the We Kill Humans series, are there, including the last three that really give me chills when I read them. It's definitely a book that will get you itching to read Book 2.

I'll spend the next month revising and editing and sending it out to my beta reader. Look for the final product to be published in early March.

I still have five days of track out left and plan to start my next book, Here Is Where I . . .

Hi Brian,

Just out of curiosity, why do you choose not to send the first book of a new series off to a traditional publisher in the hopes that they pick it up? I can appreciate the frustration involved in the process, and perhaps you do submit your books to agents and publishers all the time, but I ask out of respect for your work that I have read. Would it not be a dream to be picked up by a house? Perhaps this may make an interesting blog post at some point?
