A STEADY DIET OF MARSHMALLOWS
Posted on August 17, 2013
My students last year liked when I drew cartoons with marshmallows doing stunts and standing around looking cute. The students I teach this year in my three classes, all 67 of them, love the marshmallows and use their Clopper Cash to buy more. I have branched out and done superhero marshmallows with Spider-man and Hulk being the faves. I have probably done about thirty marshmallows this year alone and the requests keep coming.
If a student really works hard, they can earn enough to get about a cartoon a week. I figure I've done about 100 cartoons in just the first three weeks alone. At this rate, I will easily pass any previous records of cartoons. My best guess is I do about 800 cartoons a year for the students.
Anyway, I thought I'd share what one of my students brought me this week, her rendition of a heroic marshmallow:
And here's one of my recent cartoons, a mutant marshmallow with tentacles, wings, a unicorn horn, and one dashing Fu Manchu 'stache:
As I make more memorable marshmallows, I'll post them maybe once a month. They are certainly addicting to draw.
