WILLY SHAKESPEARE AND WE THREE MEET

Posted on March 18, 2015

Turns out my new novel, We Three Meet, has some connection to Shakespeare. The quote is from Macbeth.

"Where shall we three meet again in thunder, lightning, or in rain? When the hurlyburly's done, when the battle's lost and won."

I guess there's some connection. Rain figures into my story, and Sebastian and Brooke have a rather hurlyburly relationship. My guess is I was exposed to this line before (sounds like I'm describing radiation, huh?), and it stuck in my subconscious. Weirder stuff has been known to set up residence in there.
