SO CLOSE TO FINISHING I CAN TASTE THE EPILOGUE

Yikes, the title above sounds altogether icky, but I can't help feeling excited. Here Is Where I . . . is almost complete.
I'm in the thick of an epic, self-aware climax, and Gideon is pulling out all the stops. I'm trying to balance the fact that he's an inexperienced hero with demonstrating that he's gained confidence throughout the book. I expect to finish the climax chapter early tomorrow and then write the aftermath chapter. That will leave the two epilogues for the weekend and then Monday for a quick Author's Notes write-up.
By the way, reading Ready Player One right now and loving it. The book is really speaking to me and it's a joy to see so many references to my childhood in its nostalgic plot construction. It's a very indulgent book, but one this product of the eighties really finds totally awesome!
