ANOTHER HEAVENLY GOOD NOVEL ON THE SCHEDULE

Posted on August 21, 2019

I can't seem to shake designing books. My wife and I came up with this quote after a discussion about what would happen if one of us died first and the other remarried. What would that person then do once they got to heaven and had two soulmates waiting for them?

Looks like I have more spiritual satire ahead of me.

That's It, I'm Not Looking You Up In Heaven
back cover text:

Dear Dexter Milton,

I'm sorry you are not finding the afterlife 'all it's cracked up to be.' I assure you all the rules, pesky minutiae, and quirks you've encountered are part of a greater plan.

And, no, I won't be letting you in on said plan. Just relax and enjoy your eternity here. Wise up and toe the line, good man.

I really can't help you with your romantic dilemma. I understand it must be vexing to have your two wives here. I get that they are both your soulmates and can see where making a decision of one or the other must be wearing on you.

Might I suggest the counseling services of Floyd? He's truly a trusted angel who has helped many with adjusting to the great and wonderful beyond. Might I also suggest you stay away from the red door? Opening it once is excusable. Doing it a second time might just land you someplace you don't want to wind up.

Speaking of winding up, some find our clockwork cherubs quite a diversion. They can be crafted to imitate any animal or pet you desire. I strongly suggest you think about doing this. Perhaps having a stand-in for your first puppy, Bailey, would go a long way to soothing your troubled soul.

Please do mind your P's and Q's and have a blessed time on your voyage to discovering your true self and soulmate.

Yours Truly,

The Big Guy
