FIRST DAY WITH TOMB OF TOMES
Posted on March 26, 2018
Got 4,000 words of Tomb of Tomes written today. It was a lot of fun diving back into the world of Irving Wishbutton. Having thoroughly established these vivid characters in the first two books made the dialogue a breeze to write.
What I researched today in order to write the first two chapters: Art Deco theaters and the figureheads on the front of sailing ships.
Having a ball writing the vile Princess Stacia and contrasting her with the reformed Sir Gared, the Golden Knight. His writer has decided to change him from a villain to a hero. Gared's leaning in hard on the nobleness, almost to the point of being annoying. I can't wait to play that off of Irving. He had to put up with Gared being a despicable and bullying villain in the first two books and now has to deal with just the opposite. So lovely.
