IRVING BOOK TWO ON THE VERGE OF BEING A PRINT BOOK AND A SUMMARY OF THE GOD WHEEL
Posted on March 25, 2019
I just submitted the print version of Irving Wishbutton Book Two to Amazon today. It should go on sale in a day or two. Here's the lovely cover. Keith Robinson did a marvelous job once again.
The God Wheel is at the fourth readthrough stage. After that, it goes to my beta readers and then will come back to be reworked one more time. I think a June release is very doable. Here's my initial summary.
The God Wheel
Felix Martin finds his luck has drastically changed for the better. He realizes his good fortune can't last. His life just doesn't work that way. Sure enough, complications arise, divine complications.
He finds out that everyone has a god wheel, a metaphysical device spun by a dutiful squire that steers one's fate. Each mortal has a personal pantheon of gods just a spin away. Felix's squire turns up MIA. This sets off a chain of events that leads him to more direct contact with his quirky band of gods and goddesses, and each has strong feelings about the direction in which he should conduct his life.
Making matters worse, Felix is mentioned in a vague prophecy that far too many know dribs and drabs about but can't tell him what's what in a big picture sense. Felix uncovers it involves saving all of reality from a thoroughly despicable elder god with a hankering for chaos.
Witty and intricate, The God Wheel is a modern fantasy that is sure to have readers rethinking how they'd stop the end of the world.
