NEW YEAR AND NEW AND OLD PROJECTS
Posted on January 1, 2013
I am very excited to be starting Fractured today. It is a book I am co-writing with Keith Robinson. This book has a lot of pyrotechnics storywise and will be a unique project.
I recently posted my project schedule for the new year and everything is looking great! One addition will be the second book of Go-For-It Gopher, which I will find a way to write in the first six months. More than likely, squeezing it in when I work on Graham 3. The reason is that this fun superhero series has sold exceedingly well and is my top seller by far. The book is a quick one to do as the first book was only about 17,000 words. Anyway, I want to have another one out by summer. It's a time travel tale and will be oodles of fun.
By the way, I got the greatest plot point ironed out for Graham 3 yesterday. What if I told you that half the book takes place at Graham's new school and the other half on Earth? It's a wonderful wrinkle and very fitting as Graham and Flenn have been to Earth in the first two books. Their reason for both crossing over to Earth is wonderfully inventive. I can't wait to start that book in February.
I am so encouraged by the creative and business positives that have happened with my work this year and hope 2013 brings even more of the same.
