OF TOSSING SALADS AND COINKYDINKS
Posted on March 20, 2016
After being away from writing for a good four weeks, there's always a part of me that gets nervous it will be hard to get back into a project. I set a goal of attempting only 500 words today. Well, I went well beyond that, clocking in 1,200 words and writing a chapter that deepens the tension between Gideon and his house-crashing cousin, Nina, who seems to be really getting herself mixed in quite deep with his life.
Poor Gideon.
Below is the chapter title. All of their back and forth happens in front of Gideon's dad who is clueless to the verbal daggers both of them are throwing back and forth to each other.
Here Is Where I . . . Toss a Decent Salad and Find My Cousin's Comings and Goings To Be Too Much of a Coinkydink
In one week, I can cut loose and write 2,000 words or more a day for a stretch of about 15 days. Yea!
More updates about this rowdy magic project soon.
