SETTING PRIORITIES

Well, I have to confess to feeling a little adrift with myself tonight. My beta readers got back to me on Ty Wallace, and they had problems with the book. I agreed with everything they said, which is why I pulled it off the schedule as well as several other projects. This has happened before with a book, and I went back and completely rewrote it and it turned out so much better. I may do that here, but I think maybe I need to step back from it and try a book that sticks closer to what I do well.
I'm working on the lemon book, but now I'm second-guessing myself with it, too. Maybe holding off on that and starting something fresh and approachable might be in order.
So here are the next three things on my list:
– hold off on the lemon book and come back to it soon
– start something new and fresh that is short and reflects my roots
– write the third zombie book in my Turncoats series
What this means is I will likely only publish two books this year instead of three.
